Sing

Meadowsong consists of 4 songs that create a 20-minute performance piece. The songs provide a beautiful and dramatic exploration of this rich and fascinating habitat that captures the imaginations of children, deepening a sense of connection and empathy with the natural world.

The songs are versatile in their composition so that they can be learned as stand-alone songs or as a connected piece. The cycle is both accessible and ambitious so offers great scope in terms of performance, ranging from single class assemblies to massed choir cross-borough performances.

“Kate Stilitz has a gift for writing music that is stylistically imaginative, eminently suitable for children’s voices and conveys messages of deep significance.”
